Journalist, novelist, dramatist and cinema critic who went into voluntary exile in Mexico in the 1950s. Creator of the popular 'Gato Culto' cartoon. Father of Paco Ignacio Taibo II, well-known Mexican writer of detective stories, and Carlos Taibo, film producer.
