A play in twelve scenes about the life of Ignacio de Loyola, founder of the Jesuit order. The play also explores the history of the Jesuits. It critiques the actions of the clergy during the Spanish civil war and Francoist period and in the present day. It also looks at the way in which the clergy have taken on the revolutionary cause of the dispossessed in Latin America, and the assassination of priests by the far Right. Multiple Ignacios respond to these events, and in the end they all occupy the space of the stage.
